Hmmmmm, Shooting Chrony?

Don’t stay in the dinosaur era… And you’ll shoot it eventually.
If you havent shot it, then its not a Chrony.

Clipped mine a couple times. But big difference in 150 and 700$

Have a FX radar that good for 1100fps and it wouldnt even register cci quiet 22 or 45acp.

Chrony works everytime.

You have to invest to enjoy, my hornady powder thrower broke the other day. I said fuk it and bought a V4… That thing is so impressive.

Chrony are not really necessary. Father taught me reloading over 25 years ago. We never owned one and made match ammo. Dont need one to enjoy.
Don't need one but you want to be 1 grain ishh from your max pressure on average for a good load which you can’t always find without a chrony. It's a safety tool as well and it really helps to find your trajectory. I bought my first one after 10 years of reloading and I couldn'd do without it now. Reloading toys are expensive when you get to the next level.

You are assuming a lot.

I bought my shooting Crony over 15 years ago.
Actually visited the place where they made them.
Just surprised(well not really) that someone is selling a clone
Ur right my bad, thx for the clarification. I wonder how much they are nowadays, they were 100$ back then.

My Chrony's dropped shots regularly and I had several of them. Also shot both of them. Also shot a way more expensive Caldwell G2 ... twice.

The $700 Garmin sits behind the muzzle so it's impossible to shoot so you will never have to replace it.

If you want to shoot past a few hundred yards you will need the muzzle velocity to figure out the trajectory. There are other reasons to need to measure muzzle velocity.

But to say they're required for reloading is false. Most people don't load to the max. Maybe for long range and want to know velocity. But can easy make a data chart by shooting at each range and making a dope chart. Still plenty of people that use the pen and paper method.

Personally i dont care what i dont care has to say.

Got an old chrony just like that one that is 40 years old, mine doesn't have the sky screens just the cardboard with the hole to shoot through and it's never been shot :D comes with a paper pad, pencil and calculator so you can record the data, that's all I ever used until I treated myself to a Garmin OMG life is simpler now but that old chrony was bang on when side by side with the garmin.

I got a crony about 25 years ago and it was good at the time but there's much better options out there today, namely Garmin.
The crony was a pain to set up and use, I only shot one of the bars once and replaced the aluminum ones with wood dowels so that the next time it happened they would shatter and I had spares to replace them. A couple of times the muzzle blast blew it over on it's tripod and broke the faceplate off, I learned to weight down the tripod with something after that. Still, it was better than nothing.

I've had my Shooters Chrony for many years. It works and as someone else stated, I've validated it with a Garmin. I've never shot it.
Budget wise it beats the Garmin. But having used a Garmin too, for sure if you can part with the $$$, it's the winner.

To the comment about not needing one....the first time you don't make power factor at a handgun match, you'll decide you do need one.
