Did a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for. I'd like to get a Badger Ordinance bolt knob for my 700; how is it installed? Has anyone done it?

not a bad price,
From what I have read the only other ways is to attack your bolt with a grinder and try to make it round so you can thread it.
Or one guy lathed a small piece of steel threaded it and tiged it to the end of the bold handle.

He usually comes down to the Defensive pistol shoots at the club too.
Well I don't think I would use a grinder...
The two ways that I have seen are;
1- building a fixture to allow you to hold the bolt in a chuck and then turning and threading on the lathe.
2- using a boring head on a mill to mill the knob to the proper OD and then using a die.
