14" 870 barrels - Unobtanium

I've been looking every conceivable place for a 14" 870 barrel, they seems to be impossible to find. There's literally nothing.
My only option is getting a complete Shockwave or Police model that come with the 14".

What's the deal??

14" 870 barrels are more available then they have ever been. Dlask production goes in batches and the stock doesn’t last long.

You should buy a complete shotgun if you can’t wait/find one

I remember when Canada Ammo used to sell just the barrels. That was a while back now though.

A lot of 870 parts became unobtainium during Remington's bankruptcy a few years back, and they seem to be returning to production with whole guns ahead of addressing the parts supply chain.

$996 those guys are nuts. A complete Tac-14 is cheaper.

Guys buy them and then never get rid of them. I had a 14" but didn't like the sights so I sold the whole rig. Then I bought one with a 12.5" barrel, added a 28" barrel, and it has sat there happily ever since.

As mentioned above, Dlask produces a batch every so often, and now and again one comes up on the EE. A shockwave would limit you to a 14" barrel as the other Mossberg barrels are not interchangeable. With the 870 you could swap between the 14" barrel and longer ones if you wanted a shotgun that doubles as a predator defence shotgun and a bird hunting shotgun.

That's why guys bought the HP9-1 14" clones for $400.

They're good heavy duty 870 clones that take all parts and accessories without smithing.

The mag fed is 15" and is compatible according to customer service. Could do a swap for no reason

They’ve never been all that common and have always been fairly expensive. Availability has varied widely over the years and you essentially have to grab them whenever they pop up.

Parts from RemArms have been virtually non-existent in Canada since they started manufacturing. I’m not sure if that has changed recently.
