Recently Banned Rimfire Rifles

I used to sell IT/AV equipment and I dreaded every government and education deal. Almost every time, a room full of decision makers had zero subject matter expertise. I'm willing to bet that the same "experts" were tasked with crafting C-21

Which will be met with beat downs, horse tramplings and frozen bank accounts. They'll have a field day with the media calling everyone nazis and insurrectionists.

Doesn't matter anyway. No one will do a thing because men in this country haven't figured how to get off the couch in decades beyond filling out an online petition, claiming "that will never happen" as everything incrementally gets taken away.

After the past few years, nothing indicates that's going to change. Big talk is just that, and the way things are going, they are coming for that as well
 
By the time they actually get around to rounding up any guns the war will be over! It's still a whole year away which they will probably push back further.

I think it will be pretty funny when they try to start the buy back and there's like none being turned in. What will they say? Hopefully conservatives can wash this mess away before then

I mean, look at the GSG16, they looked at it and treated it as a "scary assault style mp5 firearm" despite the fact that this guns a .22 in a mp5 plastic shell and has virtually nothing in common with the actualy mp5 or its clones. Closest commonality i can think of (and this is a stretch at best) is that theres some mp5 furniture you can mod to fit a gsg16 lmao.

That part is true...
My gsg9 has an mp5 handguard, stock, and lower receiver on it.
But it's still a dinky .22

See, that's the thing. To us, we know exactly what the GSG16 is even with those mods you mentioned, its still a damn 22, no less and yet no more capable than before, but we see it for what it is because we understand firearms and have common sense. To the anti gunners unfortunately, it dosen't matter whats what and the facts behind firearms, if they see something thats black, covered in rails and if it vaguely resembles a gun, they hope right on it and write essays about how terrible the firearm is without stating any facts or an inkling of knowledge on the firearm at hand. Anti gunners dont seem to understand an argument i often bring up, "if i install a lambo body kit on a Honda Civic, does that automatically make it a lambo? or is it still a damn civic?"

Way past time for the fudds to wake up and realize what's going on. As I've always said, they'll never ban your hunting rifle, they'll call it a sniper rifle first.
