Problems with Remington 760 magazines (hi-caps)

Has anybody out there has problems with Remington 760 10 rnd mags? I believe they were a Numrich (Gun Parts Corp) purchase and the lips are way out of spec and interfere with the bolt carrier. The item in question is for a 308. I have been able to reshape the lips and finally get the bolt to close after some careful inspection and metal filing. Compared to a stock one they look okay but the lips are way off like I stated. This item should fit in a 742 as well. I have 4 of them with problems. Anyone have a quicker fix?

Replace it with a factory mag.

if they're the ram-line ones, i got one a few years back and had nothing but trouble with it dropping out of battery as well- go back to the STEEL factory mag and forget about your 10 rounds - stick it in a 742, and you've got a prohib, even though it will work- the other problem is one has a bolt open/follower depressor device in the mag/the 760 does not- in other words stick a 760 mag in a 742, cycle the action, and you've got a LIVE CHAMBER IMMEDIATELY

They are for a 760, I have plenty of stock mags anyhow, guess I'll chock it up to experience and fix em or chuck em....such is life.
