Not sure if there is another post like this, but I am curious if anyone on here has tried any of the Maven Optics Binos?

Thinking of grabbing a pair, but looking to see if anyone has any experience with them.

Thanks folks,

Can u get those in Canada ?

A friend of mine has one of the B series models. Color and clarity on them were good to my eye. Would I pick them over my Leicas? No, but for the money I prefer them to similar priced options from vortex or leupold.

Do they ship scopes 2 Canada or just Binos ? I’m
They actually do ship scopes. I just emailed them a week or so about this. Once you complete the purchase. They send you an email with links and instructions, but you need to apply for an import permit for it. And then once that is complete and approved they need to apply for the export permit. Customer service said they’ve never had any issues with the system. Downside…takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks

Yes they ship to Canada. I think mine was 4 weeks from order to my door
The rs 1.2 if that makes a difference
The glass is pretty amazing
The illumination could be better at high brightness but I bought it knowing it would be so

Edited: I didn't realize how old the thread was

Doesn't hurt to have up to date info. I just ordered an RS 1.2 myself, I got the Canadian Import Certificate in a couple of days and I'm waiting for the US paperwork to be approved. Hopefully, it's not too long of a wait.

Good info Mik123. A friends experience with ordering a Maven scope was similar.

How do you like the RS1.2? What’s it going on?

I'm going to put it on my hunting rifle to start, I just need to buy some rings.

From the brief time I've had it out freehand, the reticle is usable throught the magnification range (it s a duplex reticle reticle at 2.5x, image quality seems good, turrets have tacticle clicks/don't feel mushy, and the weight is as advertised at 26.5 oz.

The only negative that I've found so far is that the reticle illumination bleeds, but that's not a big deal to me.
