MRA Renegade Mark II rifles and receiver kits.

Someone please make a straight pull 9mm rifle. I can't think of anything you can buy today to shoot 9mm out of....

I've seen a Renegade in that calibre. But the straight-pull action likes clean quality brass, and who buys Red ammo that isn't in bulk crates?
I guess I didn't really consider that! I'm not super familiar with straight pull. I was planning on feeding it crates of surplus..

My gun shoots any 5.56 or 223 even the barnaul steel case crap. I can't see why the 762x39 would be different

Regarding surplus 7.62X39 ammo, my experience in straight-pull and bolt action rifles is that the lacquer coated ammo gums up after just a few rounds. Copper-washed surplus is good for 12- 15 before gumming up.
Don't waste your time converting an AR type rifle to straight-pull. ( I did it) Store it until the lieberals are voted out then take it back out to the range, or hunting if things really get better.

I used to own a Gen 2 I bought a pre built rifle from a sponsored supplier. Had problems with it not seating 5.56 ivi rounds until I swapped out the buffer for an heavier one. I also had to punch the bolt handle backwards in order to get the bolt to extract the fired brass casing. It was a fun gun to shoot when it ran smoothly with certain rounds but ultimately I sold it due to the issues I experienced.
For some reason, the Renegades and Mavericks do not like Hornady ammo. All other ammo should run smoothly. If the gun is not running smooth, it is covered by a lifetime warranty through MRA.

I've searched the whole Canadian market looking for a Renegade 7.62×39, now that I've found this post it makes sense why I can't find any....
Will the 7.62x39 also be in the works after the new year??.
I love my Renegade 223 but I now I need a 7.62x39 to stay ahead of the game just in case they take away what's left in the semi-market
MRA is planning on producing the 7.62x39 rifles Summer of 2025.
