Uberti parts on original antiques

Have any of you actually tried reproduction parts on originals yourself or know of anyone having success using them?
I'm not asking if you heard it doesn't work.

Its a Single action new model 3. Not the double action model.
Prefer Canadian source or even a parts gun. All I really need is the hand.

If you enough of the original hand you could use that as a pattern and make one.

Yes i tried old guns Canada . He doesn't have any parts.
At this point I would buy a parts gun if it was in Alberta.

I’ve repaired a number of antique colts using repro parts. A little hand fitting but they functioned flawlessly. Recently sold all my spare parts off. I don’t dabble in revolver repairs anymore. Only muzzleloaders.
