Amazing deer tracking and hunt

Came across this amazing deer hunt footage on Youtube.

Amazing footage for sure, looked like Cape Buffalo hunting complete with a "charge"! :) Would this video have been done with a GoPro-type camera on some kind of shoulder mount? Looks like very thick bush to use a set-up like that, but I can't imagine how else it would have been taken.

I love hunting in snow! :)

Yes it is a shoulder mount camera. I saw other videos where they show the setup afterwards.

That is great footage. That's the way i hunt and i had the same thing happen with this buck this past November. Heart-shot from 20 yards, reared up with the impact, then charged straight at me, veered away at maybe 6' and then dropped... big woods whitetail buck 2024 without gun.jpg
 
I’ve had great luck using a top-rated 360 cam during my hunts—makes it super easy to review the area and track movement after the fact. It helped me see stuff I missed in the moment, especially close-range trails or broken twigs I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. Way better than standard cams for getting a real feel of the whole scene.
