I want one of these in .45 which I believe is okcorral's caliber of choice here and since he won't sell me his  I guess pretty soon it'll be a call to Questar 'cause you won't be picking one of these up down at Joe's guns & buns. Here's a link to an article in another forum on the SCG in .38super but the idea is pretty much the same. Just cut & paste & lose the space after 1911 then scroll down right hand side til you get to that article.

I love my Kimber .45 but there's something about this Colt in hard chrome that really stands out. A blend of history and a touch of the more modern era done very tastefully. Form & function = Art. ;)

It's a great gun but I prefer Novak/combat fixed sights for the kind of shooting I practice...+ there are 2 things I would change on that gun (if I was working at Colt):)

Thanks for posting the link on ezine...my friend Hunter wrote that one.

Hunter is one of the greats. I've taken a lot of his advice since I got my first 1911 .45 back last year, a Kimber Tactical Custom II. Knowing that SCG is available from Dangertree is driving me crazy but I have to buy a car at the end of the month. Have you gotten out with yours yet?

If you would have taken his advice you wouldn't have a Kimber today but a TGC or SCG!;)

I guess you really need that car!:D

No, but I plan to shoot it soon!
