Considering the $1,280 mug, $10,000 toilet cover, and $90,000 bag of bushings, this red dot is totally economical for the US military. They're running just under $4k USD down south, so I don't think it's a typo. Titanium, apparently they have some motion sensing technology, NV compatible, as well as the ability to program separate reticles for different rounds. Think one for .300BLK subs, one for supers. TRex Arms has a pretty detailed video on it.
Do I think it is worth the money? Probably not for what I do, but it's a neat piece.
As a full line dealer, we have to get every red dot.simply absurd
That's rough. As a full line dealer, we have to get every red dot.
Not available commercially as they are expensive to manufacture etcI can’t imagine what the entire new optic system on the US’s newest combat rifle is going to cost?? Does anyone know if there’s a civilian version of it from Vortex??
It depends on the distributor, since we just put the MAP there.Ya know what bugs me the most?? The .84 cents in the price, I get the psychological reason for the .99 cent thing, but it has become so ubiquitous, it's almost expected, and when it's seen it's accepted as standard. I know it's a first world problem, but it just sits the wrong way with me, especially at this price, is the extra .16 cents going to lose you sales??
