White River LR primers

Anyone have any experience using these primers?

Just primed a 100 cases yesterday with them. As per comments I've read elsewhere they were a tight fit, noticeably tighter then WLR primers in the same batch of cases. I have fired maybe 50 rounds over the last year and no misfires.

saw them online today at a few retailers, had never heard of them before. USA made I believe.

Did you need to ream the primer pocket ?

Didn't ream the pockets but I use an old round Lee hand primer and I was somewhat concerned about breaking the thumb lever a couple of times. Pretty sure replacement parts are unavailable .

Sounds like they would work good in my latest project reloading CBC Berdan brass.

I have 2 sleeves of the large magnums but haven’t got around to pressing anything up yet. So I’m also curious.

Suther: According to info found online, White River primers are produced by White River Energetics. In Arkansas USA. Haven't seen any locally, yet.

Did you notice the tight fit into the primer pocket?

Tight is good with me. Been using those old CanAm Dominion for years and they are tight too, get a few extra loads out of brass when pockets loosen up.
Last Mag primers I bought recently were RWS, they are really good quality, like match grade quality, like them alot.

Donkin, Nope, no issues like that with Lapua brass. I've had many an issue with the GINEX ones though.

I agree, I've burned through my meager supply of mine. I've shot 4 50 round boxes of the RWS JakMatch 6.5x55 Swede, they were very nice. At 100 grain they were a little light for my preferences. But the cases are phenomenal, I'm loading to match the Swede surplus and am at MOA over 500m with them.
