Many of the States prior to the revolutionary war were actually Provinces, State of Georgia was the Province of Georgia etc, so there is precedent for Provinces becoming states, we are just a US territory at this point, may as well get the benefits of statehood.

Not sure that I agree. It might affect a small percentage. There is plenty of federal and provincial crown land (which would substantially be managed by BLM or the state?).

I grew up in Europe, the last thing you want is joining in on that lunacy. They are tanking their own economies in the name of climate change, limit in what you can invest, cameras on every street recording where you go, getting taxed waaaaaaay higher on wages and anything else, and importing immigrants to the point they commit cultural genocide. So nice living in a place where its a weekly occurance to have a house shot up or grenade thrown at it, because the portworker didn't agree on the drug smuggling offer they gave him.

+ with or without these tarrifs, the canadian economy is ####ed. Go and try and find a job in places like Toronto. The whole job market is saturated. Rampant fraud with LMIA job postings. Illegal work everywhere. Certain demographics only hiring the same demographic etc. Government jobs where you need to be a minority to get hired or have a disability.

This trade war might actually be good in the long run, hope they start new pipelines/ setup refineries, hope they start up mining/ logging again, and take away the bs restrictions they have on most of these industries.

I came from Europe, escaped from a commie country 49 years ago, but it looks like communism in Canada is in full speed. The legal system is a joke, immigration is openly taking people on the terrorist watch and then shredding their passports.
