from what i heard they are like a nicer Vortex Diamondback , never tried them myself but if its true they are worth their 700 price tagHow do these compare to say a leopuld mark 4, heard good things I just know what I’m getting with the mark 4, the 2500$ price tag vs 700 is nice tho
You're comparing 2 totally different classes of glass.... The Mark 4 is WAY lighter and has better glass for sure (I was able to compare side by side with my Match Pro last summer) .... but the EP5 which I have owned, is pretty much the same as the Bushnell Match Pro ED (which I also own) - from a "value" point of view, the Mark 4 is about 4X the cost... and not 4X's better quality. The EP5 / Match Pro / DNT "The One" (newer release of the EP5) are all excellent glass out to about 600 - 800 Yards... anything else, you'll be wanting to spend some more $$ - saying that, they are also chunkier than the Mark 4, so a lot will depend on your application. These are not ideal for hunting only (weight and exposed turrets) , but NRL22 / ORPS / PRS Rimfire disciplines, they hit the ball out of the part. How do these compare to say a leopuld mark 4, heard good things I just know what I’m getting with the mark 4, the 2500$ price tag vs 700 is nice tho
I think the EP-5 is nicer than even the Strike Eagles, FWIW.from what i heard they are like a nicer Vortex Diamondback , never tried them myself but if its true they are worth their 700 price tag

I've had both.... it's close on glass quality, but the win goes to Arken for turrets and price.I think the EP-5 is nicer than even the Strike Eagles, FWIW.
I had these back to back last week as well - sobering! I like the Arken/DNTs more than all my other sub $1800 scopes to be frank. I keep waiting for some catastrophic failure to bring me back to reality...I've had both.... it's close on glass quality, but the win goes to Arken for turrets and price.
oh ! good to knowI think the EP-5 is nicer than even the Strike Eagles, FWIW.
