New PAL holder, buying first gun

How long did your PAL take? I just sent off my application here in BC so I'm hoping to get it soon with plenty of time to practice before the huntin seasons open up.

It took me approximately 10 months.

I was very fortunate on my turn around it was only a month. I overheard in a fishing/hunting store on the weekend that the process is quicker now. I would expect a month after your 28 day waiting period.. but I also don’t know exactly

I submitted my PAL / RPAL Dec 7, 2024, I bought my first firearm Feb 1, 2025.

They had me processed pretty quick!
