Benelli Nova 3

LOP is a big deal. I don't exactly have t-rex arms, but my wing span is certainly short for 14 1/8 on a pump gun. Otherwise I would be interested.
The long fore end would help offset that somewhat though.

Sorry for the newbie questions here but I purchased one of these, specifically the 21505 model and now I want to add a couple accessories. Hoping someone can clarify for me.

1. Can I add a picatinny rail? (Would like to perhaps add a red dot sight)
2. If I can, do I end up removing the rear ghost sight altogether or can I somehow mount it to the picatinny rail?

I cannot seem to find anything specific to the Nova 3 at this point and don't know if would share common pre-drilled specs as a Nova or Supernova.

Good point. I did notice that and it is a positive, I'd have to check one out in person, but I wish more had better designed fore ends.
My username is hilariously ironic here but yes, the forend is a massive help on them. You don't notice the long LOP near as much as say a Mossberg. They're more like a semi where your support hand is just infront of the receiver instead of 5-6" further forward.

Nice pump - shottie, but I just cant get past the stock and receiver - polymer, one piece.

I'm not against polymer as I have a Glock and a few others, but on a shotgun reciever, nope. But-stock and for-stock are fine, but a receiver, hard no. It took me years to hop on the Mossberg 590 A1 bandwagon with the aluminum receivers and I always liked the all steel Rem 870 series.

I guess I'm just an Old School guy. :sneaky:
