Has anyone else had good luck with Simmons scopes?

I had a Simmons Whitetail Classic in I believe 6.5-20. It was a decent scope. I sold it to a shooting buddy, he liked it.

I had the same on a 22-250 around 2008 -2010 I bought it. Worked good for many years till I sold the rifle.

I like the Simmons for rimfires but would never consider using one on a centrefire.
