Anybody own a Taurus 62 or a Henry pump .22?

I spied these on the internet, and they look kinda cool...

Are they any good?

From a quick search on rimfire central the mod 62 Taurus can (supposedly) slam fire, post a review if you get one. This is one of the guns I've been on the fence about for a while. Not that I've read anything negative it's just that I've never seen them locally or for that obvious reason got to handle one.

Can't comment on the Taurus, but I have a Henry pump action.
Fit and finish are great, accuracy is really good. It's a cool little rifle.
There's something about the bang...schk-schk... that brings a grin to my face :D .

(E)

i bought the taurus pump in 22 mag everybody looks at it as its small like a gallery gun but when they shoot theres a smile on there faces and they dont want to put it down, mine does not slam fire by the way, great little gun had a hard time finding one

I would'nt touch another Taurus with a ten foot pole. A few years ago I bought a brand new Taurus 63 from SIR, took it out a few days later to try it out, and on the 22nd shot the damn thing blew right the f*ck up!, KABOOM, bolt pieces everywhere.
And trying to get SIR to replace it, well thats another story in itself.

I own a Browning pump in a .22WMR. The rifle is very accurate, never jams, and just a fun gun to shoot. It is unfortunate that Browning stopped making this model.
