Fairly close copy with 21'' part Octagon barrel (top and bottom) & Tang sight. (Only Original I've seen)

Avaliable in .22lr (rifle shown) .17 HMR & .22 WMR - Xtractor only no Ejector .

I picked up one of these several years back, it's probably one of my favorite little .22's. (And I own a lot of those.) Mine has the solid block and hammer opposed to the skeletonized style in these pictures.

Despite the hammer and trigger being stiff, these things are capable little tackdrivers. Set up on a rest, you can get a pretty steady stream of shots off down range, wish they made more .22's in this style these days!

Really gotta get a tang sight for mine too. Only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the iron sights.
 
I had one of the earlier Favourite Savage replicas the 72 .I killed a lot of rabbits with that gun and just about wore it out.I replaced it with this Varner .The Varner has a peep style rear sight something like the Marbles Bullseye sightIMG_1604.jpeg
