Any military rifles out there in .45 acp that hasn’t been blacklisted?

I’ve been depriming brass and found a bunch of .45 acp rounds from back in the day when I owned a 1911 and a JR Carbine. Both were jam-o-matics so I got rid of them but, I remember the fun of shooting the cartridge and miss it.

Can’t get 1911’s anymore and I don’t want to go down the JR Carbine route. Don’t like Kriss Vectors or the HK’s (don’t even know if it’s still an option). Not interested in TNW Aero.

I remember there were some military rifles that were converted to .45 acp that looked like they could be fun. Some would pop up every so often here on the EE. I’d even consider a lever but I heard they’re only in Long Colt.

Help me out guys, I need to know what I can lay in wait for. I know they have some conversion stuff out there like Enfields and Mausers. Average prices of the rifles would also help to know what to aim for (pun intended). Let’s make a list! Yay!

There are those Lee Enfield conversions/ kits floating around, I don't recall the mfg (rhineland?).
There is also the various repro De Lisle carbines floating around.
Not really a military gun, but Uberti also made a 1875 revolving carbine in 45ACP at some point.

Hi-Point 995 is much better than their reputation gives

There was a sick setup for using a 1911 as a lower for some vaguely sten type upper, mech tech

I liked my 9mm and my 45acp Hi-Point rifles. Too bad they got banned. Hopefully conservatives win with a strong majority and not penalize us non-threat hunters, target shooters, and competition people.

You could try a Chaszel 12ga barrel adapter to 45acp. I have an 18” one in that caliber I use out of my 870 20” rifled barrel with sights. It’s very accurate oddly enough for what it is. Target below was at 25 meters off hand.

Oh wow, that’s awesome! Was that a bullet tumble on the target tho? My SKS used to do that.

They hit nose on, the insert is fully rifled, the target was stapled to a tree and the paper just ripped weird
Gotta watch out because not all guns can handle them. Damaged a Cooey 840. Rounds slapped the breech, firing pin pierced the primers and alot of crap in my face. Left a noticeable dent in the breech. Accuracy was so in so.

Frontier Outfitters sells Chiappa 12 guage conversion barrels. They come in a kit of 8 conversions, but FO has broken down the kits to sell individually, usually $129 or so each. I bought a kit, just haven't tried it out but each comes with a rifled insert. Will work on break-action shotguns, not semi or pumps.

You can get them to work in semis and pumps by modifying them, just have to file or grind off the portion of rim where the extractor is. The instructions for the chaszel inserts walk you through the process, I just don’t think the Chiappa ones include that in theirs. But they’re nearly identical for what they are.
