Surplus is all mostly the same. I wouldn’t pay more for one than the other and right now the Chinese surplus is about 33 cents

Reliable in Vancouver has Romanian for 50 cents a round. It’s corrosive steel core fmj…Chinese is 33 cents. I don’t understand why.

A few years back Ganderite ran an ammo test of Euro-bloc brands. He used a custom barrel he had assembled and the Romanian (both 'Red Seal' and w/o Red) did OK but 'commercial' Wolf Performance (WPA) was more accurate. He didn't have Chinese or Barnaul (tho Russian M-S did well) avail at the time so 'older stuff'.
