Tikka T3x reviews anyone?

I've had several, and still have a couple. I've used them for hunting, and for custom target rifle builds. There's a lot I don't like about them - fit and finish (including wood inletting) are what you'd expect at this price point, the synth stocks on the lower end models are terrible, but in terms of accuracy, customizability, reliability (all the things that matter) you really can't do much better for the money. My 30-06 stainless/laminate is still my go-to hunting rifle.
I like that the safety locks the bolt down, I like the simplicity of the action, I like the stock profile, with handloads it shoots like a laser beam, the bolt is super easy to strip and clean, and with a little tinkering, all the plastic is gone, the bedding is rock solid, and it didn't break the bank so I don't really care about it getting wet, scratched, dirty, etc.

I had a T3X in 223 it shot extremely well with original stock (added) a Dave's Trigger spring and it made an improvement over stock trigger spring. I shot it quite a bit (5 shot strings) one after another. Not surprised that the barrel looked like aligator skin the first 4-5 inches down the barrel from the throat after 2500 rounds. The action was used for a custom build (Kriger barrel and MDT Stock) it still shot well - sold the build several years ago. Overall it was good - likely my fault that the barrel was shot out in the 1st place.
Love my T3x Hunter in 300wm. Had been a proven and problem free moose gun for years. My T3x Arctic in 308 is my go to deer gun, problem free and does everything I want it to. My CTR in .223 is a great target shooter too. Never had a Tikka that didn’t do its part if I did mine. Highly recommend.
I have a few T3Xs in the various flavours, so suffice to say I am a fan. As Canuck65 says above, things like the stock leave something to be desired and I don't love the safety, but that bolt is buttery smooth goodness and with a $10 YoDave spring you've got something very accurate that will do the job for many many years.
I've got one currently and it is as accurate and precise as the other two I've owned previously. This one is a 7mm Rem Mag I bought that I didn't need whatsoever but shoots everything well even with the cheap-feeling stock. I added an alloy bottom metal and a limbsaver I pulled off my last T3X before I sent it on its way. Also the vertical grip.
These guns deserve a better stock IMO (I do have a laminate take-off but like the vertical grip) but overall they are deserving of their reputation for quality and accuracy.

Tikka’s synthetic stocks are as good as any synthetic stock I’ve handled and better than most. I don’t really like synthetic stocks either, but ^ sounds like the way I’d describe a Savage stock I’ve handled, not a Tikka.
I think they’re the best factory bolt actions for the $, everyone I’ve had has been amazing in terms of accuracy. Don’t even need to load for it =just good factory ammo.

I have never owned, shot, seen nor heard of one that did not function properly and shoot damm well, providing it was in the hands of someone who knew how to shoot. Great value for the $$$ and probably the best out of the box bolt gun out there for the money.
Okay, here you go. I`ve got a Tikka Varmint .204 Ruger that is insanely accurate with 1/4" 5 shoot groups to be expected, if I do my part. Has produced several groups in the "ones". It is one of the most consistently accurate guns I have ever owned ( and I have owned a lot of guns). I have custom built guns that cost 3 to 4 times the cost of the Tikka but the Tikka will hang with them. It is one of those "never sell - keep till I die" guns.
