Do you keep the badger pelts at all?

I know badgers are pests out your way. It would be nice to have a badger throw rug though.

We have badgers here in BC, but the do-gooders will have the uneducated people believe they are endangered. We have several badgers around and my wife and I see them while out shooting gophers. I call the endangered title giving to our BC badgers is absolutely bull-pucky.

It's just more control by our stupid socialist NDP government.

I got one incoming currently to try out myself and mess around with a bit at the range. I plan to try it on grouse and maybe other small game this season in a mock survival situation and see how it does.
For what it is, I think it's pretty cool. It's a very, very simple, lightweight single shot takedown survival rifle, similar in theory to an AR7, minus the magazine. It is not meant to have all the comforts and adjustability of a full size carbine or rifle, or their extended range capability. I plan to shoot this at 100m and in the vast majority of the time.
The trigger on the Stowaway is not great from what I hear. I have heard that from pretty much every owner I have talked to about it. That sucks but I will have to see for myself just how bad it is.

They do offer a 1913 picatinny stock adaptor so you can change the stock out to something more substantial and as Donkin showed already, you can easily make a handguard or heat shield for better ergos. With calibers like 5.7 and 9mm available now and the .22lr and .17HMR coming soon for affordable prices, I think it's a cool little rig. The 9mm conversion costs $199.99usd on their site, so I imagine the .22lr will be similar, maybe a bit cheaper.

It is truly unfortunate we cannot have suppressors here because this would shine in that use and is what most guys use it with in the US. There's some cool builds online I have seen of these things.

How was the performance on the coyote? What distance?

Finally got mine out to the range today, fun little gun. Lots of fliers with the American Eagle stuff, but now I've got some brass to work with

20yards, dropped to the shot, no exit. If you plan to reload, leave the coating on the cases. The sizing die will scrape some of it off. But if the coating is completely removed the cases will stick in the die and the rim will pull off. Fun times then.

Good to know, thanks!
