Rifle fit and Odd people 😂

Do you have access to husqvarna 1600/1640 super light/carbine? They are cheap, they are really good and they are pretty light!

I've not seen alot of Husjys down under mate?

What we did work out, is whe. She is behind the gun in a aggressive /attacking mode ? The gun feels good an sight picture is good... We WILL go a LOW scope mount shortly....

She shot well on gongs an targets today....

We have decided we are going to try something else to try get a bit Lighter in the front ... So I'd assume some kind of compact 18 or under barrel length...

We are keeping the Franchi until a solid decision is made after trying something else.

Appreciate all the helps and tips.
Will keep posted.!

We could end up with anything

I have one and I would say that the stock is heavier than either the walnut or the synthetic on the model 7. But they feel great in my hands. I took a bit of wood out of the butt. I use a red dot on it and it carries nice

We can get onto a model 7, synthetic / blued version, i think its 20 inch also- weighed at 2,73 with rings --
so with burris droptine , itl be about 370g heavier.... probly not a bad spot to be.
not kimber light, but not a 3.5kg rifle setup , an a slightly shorter barrel-

its in 308, we will stay with the 308 for ease of components, powder etc..

guy is offering $850 -- which is a solid in itself almost worth going for it on that note. we just really want to hold a model 7 in person!

Well, I'd let you borrow one of mine if you were closer. I like the way they feel, for a hunting rifle. - dan

I have a rifle like this, Savage 110 scout with Iron sights, fits me great. Had a buddy give it a go and he couldn't even get his face down far enough on the stock to see through the sights. I have very thin, high cheek bones. Most shotguns I can't even see over the receiver when I get my cheek on it. Sounds like she has my problem and needs an adjustable comb or lower rings if you can do it.

I'm 5'10, fairly wide, 210lbs, and recently discovered those 12.5" LOP compact rifles fit me so well with layers of hunting gear on, plus they are lighter to haul around, I may sell a pile of the "man size" rifles I have sitting here those compacts fit so well.
Anything 14"+ LOP I really notice now what a pain in the ass they are lol.
