Glock 29 with 106 mm barrel?

It is worth looking into. What is the effect on the recoil spring rod of this battering? I have held one and it feels tiny, but they are larger than the other subcompacts. Accuracy has to do with sight radius, which is smaller. Night sights are for CCW. IMHO. I'd consider getting one, for ####grins, with a ported barrel.

I have a G29 and a G20. With the pierce grip extensions the G29 is quite managable. I have loaded some really hot rounds (180grains @ 1300 fps), yes it's pretty snappy with those but not uncontrollable. Overall I really like it. Reliability is excellent.

Keep in mind the 29 still has the big beefy frame and slide. It is much bigger and heavier than the 26 & 27. If your hands don't fit a 20 they probably won't like a 29 either. I refer to it as my "little big gun".;)

I have my OD framed glock 29 on my hip right now. I decided I liked it enough to buy a holster and reloading stuff this past week.

I picked the gun up in a trade and I think I scored. It came with TWO 106mm barrels. One in 10mm and one in .40 S&W. The mags function flawlessly with .40 so far too. Just have to aim a bit higher.

I only put two boxes of .40 through the gun though. It just doesnt feel good to go from the recoil, blast, and flash of 10mm to the pop of .40

I dont want to be shot with either, but now that I have a good supply of ammo, and all the extras, I am sticking with 10mm.

I have a .40bbl for mine as well. Even though I have a lighter recoil spring to use with the .40 I never bother to change it. .40 loaded to factory specs cycles the gun flawlessly with the 10mm recoil spring.
