here are some more pictures of Louthepou's resurrected Lee Enfield. Mind you I am not into Milsups. But when I handled a Lee Enfield No1 mark3. I knew I need to have that piece of history. Anyway, enough about that here is some pictures. Very nice job Lou. Very nice. My best regards.

Appreciate the feedback Spr. Armory - More importantly, I'm glad you are happy with it, that's my main objective! Nice pics too - might hire you to take pics of my rifles if you weren't 3,000 miles away :) Hope you'll get a chance to try it out at the range...

Skirsons, I can't be certain (I'm working with lots of stocks), but I think it's mostly beech - although there's something that tells me the butt's walnut. If it is, it ended up being easy matching the colour with stain - usually it takes more work, but for that rifle I may have stained the lighter parts no more than three times.

I have a No1 MkIII "LOU Enfield"too ( Ha! Ha! I just love saying that! :) ) and am very pleased with it. Shoots fantastic, looks great. Lou does fine work indeed! Definitely my prettiest No1 MkIII.
