Prohib rifles on fun post

Not exactly sure which forum this would belong in so im tossing it in here. Anybody else seeing an influx of recently prohibited rifles come up on the other site? I think it all must be RCMP trying to get people. I saw a GSG for sale in BC, as soon as the account was made the rifle was posted for sale. In the same postal code there’s an RCMP detachment. I’ve been using my pc9 I just bought from cabelas for everything including coyote hunting and target shooting .Was just told by a fellow at tht range it was banned ,I had no idea at all.crazy because he was shooting a Henry homesteader 9mm no problem it’s legal lol

I still see an older gent regularly on a nearby trail with a mini 14 on his ATV.

I casually mentioned the issue once......but to each their own.
 
Some people haven’t a clue their gun is prohibited. Others know and are trying to sell it to get clear of it and get some money out of it. Posting prohibited on open forum isn’t the brightest move. When you could sell handguns I had multiple people off of GP trying to buy from me without and RPAL or PAL. Some people think they can get away with anything.

Who cares ?!

If its a trap, it will catch either a criminal or a retard.

If it’s legit, either that person isn’t into guns that much to begin with or someone that has mastered the rare skill of "not giving a flying curse word" about dumb laws.

Report that person to the police and file an official complaint if that bothers you that much, don’t just hide behind anonymously reporting someone.
 
Two sides to this one. Fed or uninformed. with the current climate if you are not a brainwashed liberal I find it hard to believe you’re not up to date on this stuff. It just doesn’t add up.. you’re either awake and know they’re coming for our guns or you’re still licking up that cbc drivel. And in both cases one should have caught this. I beleive it’s also your responsibility as a PAL holder to stay up to par.. It’s a license, it’s not like people didn’t know about distracted driving laws when they came into play… JMHO

He knows it’s prohib, and likely knows it’s unlawful to try and sell it. I’d assume this is a fed because this is FAR from the only example I’ve seen of a brand new account trying to sell a newly prohibited rifle straight away. I personally just find it hard to believe that this is someone who has good intentions, that’s all.

That being said, it really wouldn’t take long to make up a thread FULL of these suspicious newbies trying to sell what they know they legally can’t.

Everytime you check the location of one of these new accounts selling or trying to buy a prohib as soon as they register it’s always in the same postal code as an RCMP detachment, but that’s just what I’ve noticed. Forgive me for being bitter and cynical about all of it, it may just the state of things lately getting to me.
 
My local gun club had to put a list of banned guns. People keep showing up with newly prohibited rifles from PC to 22lr and a few 223 as well.

Each time they are like "wtf are you talking about I bought this last year" like the guy who showed up with a brand new unfired Raven. Finally got the time for a range trip just to be told he's a criminal lol.

Good job liberals. Canada is so much safer thanks to you.

Yep, makes it a little awkward if someone shows up with something Poly banned and they were not aware of, even more strange if they are an LEO.
