I dream of a Bear Hunt like this

Very good story on the jump. I'll side with you on the immasculating... goodness knows I still top out at 11mm mauser. Plus she's hunting an animal who's head probably weighs more than her, its skin weighs more than double, and with a rifle that weighs about 2/3 of her.

Edit - from further reading - she weighs in a 46 lbs... that means the bear skin weighed 4 times what she did... that's like a regular man hunting a bear with a skin that weighed over 700lbs:eek:

A wonderful story! Funny and heart touching too.

My wife teared up when she read it. :) I went and gave my daughter a big hug and asked her if when she's a little older, she'd want to go hunting with me. Her eyes lit up and she said "Yes!".

A few weeks ago she had a look at this cute .22 here and said that when she gets a little older she'd like that for her birthday. She's almost six.

You are right it is a wonderful story,My Little girl starting shooting when she was 5 that was 3 years ago and my 5year old boy is going to start this spring.

Start them young and teach them right
