hi

newbie here

can someone tell me where i can get a brand new glock 21sf that is cheap?
the cheapest i saw was from questar for $699 and of course that doesn't include shipping?http://www.questar.ca/deals/Glock.htm (i live in vancouver)

the next cheapest one i saw was from reliable gun for $719 http://www.reliablegun.com/Reliable/Pistols/Pistols.html

$20 difference and no shiiping needed. the question is, anybody know where i can get a glock 21sf cheaper than $699?

ty much

Look up, Look WAAAAY up. Click on the Wolverine Supplies Link, they have it for $671. They put it at that price the day before my $699 one arrived from Questar. Great time to buy, really can't go wrong.

ty i musta missed that linked

but you know of any other dealer that can sell for cheaper than $671?

i saw on some us site that glock 21 sf goes for $547.

If you buy it for that price, I believe Mark from Questar will import for you. For only a $150 fee, making the price $697. I'm guess he sets his normal price such that he gets to buy himself a coffee for going to the trouble of buying it in the first place. If you don't want him to have coffee, buy it youself and save the $2. Of course it'd be a little better based on $$ exchange, but seriously, I'd take either Wolverine or Questar's service over any random out of country gun store. Both are very reputable (I bought mine from Questar, and the deal went beautifully), and if anything ever went wrong, I'd rather have spent possibly a little more from someone who'll back up their product, then the bargain basement from some guy, especially if some guy is from another country. If it's still not cheap enough, you can take all the time you want to try and find a better deal, but they are as cheap as they've been in a long time (if they were ever this cheap, I don't know), and inflation will probably knock the prices up before they go down again.

i live in van too , id give my money to wolverine or questar, when you buy from them you only have to pay gst, no pst .
if you bought from reliable you have to pay the pst as well ,
so even with shipping and gst it will still be cheaper to order it.

but reliable is a good shop to deal with though.
are you willing to wait... thats the question you should be asking

Oh for Gods sake, suck it up Princess and blow the dust off your wallet:D. Anything below $700 is a deal in Canada. Dont even look at US pricing as there is no comparison.:slap: The distributors here take their pound(kilo) of flesh before the passing it along to the retailers...Maybe you should first find a dealer with one(at whatever price) and pick it up and see if its what you like. Some folks have paid good money only to resell them shortly afterwards.
Good luck

man its just that on some many U.S. gun store websites they sell them for around $550 US and with the high Canadian dollar i just figured... why is it so high in Canada?

Glock doesnt have a distribution center in Canada or something and Canadian retailers have to buy from the U.S.?

Also keep in mind that on the US e-stores they must ship to a FFL dealer which will cost u about $25, and the FFL dealer will also charge u another $15-$25 fee for handling the transaction so a $550 gun is already $600, and thats for a citizen. The US dealers have the benefit of competition amongst distributors. Not so the case here.

Glock does have a Canadian distributor, PoliceOrdnance.com. If your looking for a used G21 they generally have them from the trade in's from law enforcement agencies. And our stronger dollar has made quite an impact on the price of Glocks in Canada, just a few years ago they were going in the $1000 range.
