Got it all working, thanks again. Some of that old surplus ammo I have is getting a little corroded, so maybe time to pull that stuff down and reload with newer components. - dan
I had to do that with several hundred rounds. Got tired of squibs and duds.Got it all working, thanks again. Some of that old surplus ammo I have is getting a little corroded, so maybe time to pull that stuff down and reload with newer components. - dan
Yeah the M1-9NSR.Just saw a chiappa M1 all done up in a thumbhole synthetic stock, picatinney rails and a fake can in the Cabelas gun room in SW edmonton. . Looked pretty cool, actually. - dan
Might? If it's not already spoken for I know a Swiss collector who wants one - can connect you.The majority of the Howas here were made for the Royal Thai Police, and have very few Howa markings beyond a proof stamp under the wood. They do have a large RTP crest stamped on them. I have one that might be leaving the country rather than being shredded. They're interesting because the cocking handle, bayonet lug, gas plug, and rear sight are not standard, everything else however, is - all GI parts will fit and work.
I got a notice from the RCMP today stating that the M1 Carbine is now prohibited.
Probably generic mass email. I got one, was just these models are now prohibited. Was that by email or letter ?
Probably because you havent done a transfer with the new system so, so they dont got your email. It was by letter.
Yup, got about 600rds of ammo, and nothing to shoot it with. What a shame.
