Hey Matt, Think when I received my first one, I spent several days researching a DOM.
Best I got was around 150T were made between 1922-74, no records were kept prior to 69, although some DOM were popping up and recorded.
There are several post over on RFC and other FN Browning forums where members posted their serial numbers and everyone tries to figure it out.
Still lots of gaps, with known DOM and numbers posted, I took an educated guess.

As Army Cadets we shot similar rifles at the high school range which was located beneath the Gym. This was one of the best parts of being in the Cadets. Another was firing the Lee Enfield .303 & the Bren Gun at Camp Ipperwash way back in 1959.

Hey Allan , yep plenty of up grades . What is the muzzle diameter now ?
Nice wood , where did that come from ?
...skwerl
That's a Vudoo BR contour blank - Chamber end turned down approx. .200" to fit the LA101 receiver then straight .910" to the muzzle. LA101 barrel is 21" but I had this one finished at 24" as I wanted to move the balance point forward a tad.
Stock was supplied as a semi finished AAA walnut by Hatcher Stocks in Victoria - Final finish and bedding done by Rolf Hey Gunsmithing in Tasmania.

Here's mine. Remmy 597 LSS premier. removed the remmy scope, added bushnell sportsman 3-9x32, weaver base/rings/mounts. Rock steady bi-pod (9-13). All the little tweakings, and she'll hopefully shoot like a dream.:D

I finally got my build shooting properly. After replacing the sbi reciever for dlask and getting the mags in the right position for the ejection system to function properly I now have a working 1022....
SK on the left and cci standard on the right. Both 10 shots at 50yds with an 8 power vortex lpvo
