Just wondering if I wasted my money getting my RPAL in 2025? It doesn’t seem like there was a point other than getting a discount on the course and the license by applying at the same time as the PAL.

I think the person is trying to determine his opinion by consensus .....So what do you expect anybody to tell you? You want a restricted license or not? Totally subjective how you value your money, what do you want to hear?
Depends on your CFOI thought I heard I can "borrow" pistols to other friends/family with RPALs for months at a time ?

Nobody was twisting his arm to apply for the RPAL at the time.
