Finally got to go out and shoot for a couple hours. The winds have been around 40-50 kmh lately and it's really hard to sight in a rifle like that!

Within 3 minutes of me finishing my shooting the winds picked up and it started snowing....

I have reverted back to plastic, owned both of these models long ago, really enjoy both of them (Steyr SSG 04A1 and Elite), but the 10X42 S&B is more challenging for me than it was 20 years ago, time for a prescription change possibly.

Custom everything, 6.5 CM. The item attached to the fore end is a 7 pound block of steel, the total weight sits this rig on the bench like it’s bolted down. Total weight is about 25 pounds.
