I just checked TSE's price list.

The Grand Power line has seen a hefty price reduction. The Mk 6 is now only $549!!!

Mags have dropped $10 per unit.

I just hope this is due to a reduction in costs and increase in volume, and not TSE dropping the line.

I don't think there are an increase of the volume in demanding. But for sure a droping in price will surely help. $549 is a good price for this gun.

That's what I'm thinking. This really heats up the competition with the M&P and the Glock.

(Until they try the K100 trigger)

Part of the problem here, is that TSE's website was laid out by someone who didn't want to sell stuff. You can't find pricing by looking on the item, you have to download a price list which is hard to find unless you know what you are looking for. Add to that that there is an original announcement of prices on their ad section on Gun Nutz, which was later ammended after the inventory came in and has not been updated to correspond with the new pricing on their web. The gun pricing is higher on it, but the magazines are $35. I think I will order a couple of mags and demand that they honour their Gun Nutz pricing. If you click on the Grand Power link on their website you get the website from Grand Power themself. I e-mailed K100 and pointed out that TSE's website is doing them a disservice, but so far no change.

With Glocks and SW M&Ps hovering around the the mid 500 price bracket, it would be wise to bring the price of the K100 closer to compete.

The K100 can most definately hold its own technically but availability of parts and so on isn't as common as Glock.

It turns out the mags are only $35 each. These ones are different than the one shipped with the origional Marstar imports. The origional mags were a one piece tube with a metal tab welded in at the bottom to limit capacity. The current models are divotted front and back and cut along the sides.

I wish more companies would take a page out of Berettas playbook and just groove the tube top to bottom.

Thanks for posting this... I saw the $789 price and I thought "Whoa... a little steep."

$549 is pretty darn good - I will have to sell a few things first :D
