I got permission to hunt some nice land this Fall. So I picked up my Dad this morning and we went to look around. We found these critters wandering around, so I decided to get a few pictures.
I'm not sure what zone this is exactly. I just found the spot this morning, and now I gotta dig out my map. If I could just find the damned thing in this mess.
I have enough priority to draw an Archery Antelope this season. I might just go for it and then I'd have the insperation to get seriously back into practicing with my bow.
The last buck I shot was with a muzzleloader from a waterhole blind. Hunting pronghorn is about the most fun you can have with your cloths on.
Nice pic's pharaoh. Now to find the one whose horns are 3 times as big as his ears. Seen lots myself this winter on Hwy 36 from Taber to Hanna, lots of small bucks, but the occasional trophy. Using the .338 you probably could cartwheel the buck all the way to Winnipeg. Good luck in the draws.
