I'm kicking myself for not going production optics when I had the chance. Stuck rocking standard, major PF while dreaming of Liberals doing something actually useful rather than ruining sports and hobbies.

I don't think so. The liberals in their desperation for re-election have promised the sky, and once they fall short and some of their more hare-brained policies (their entire fiscal platform) bear fruit people are gonna be pissed. Not to mention, Carney was elected as the "guy to deal with Trump." Trump cannot be "dealt with" by anyone other than the American people. There's no winning for Carney. He either appeases him, turning off the TDS crowd, or butts heads with him to the point of our economic destruction. The conservatives were actually the big winners of last election despite not winning, as they gained the most seats in parliament. I fully expect that trend to continue, as the youth/Con base are now even more pissed off and energized, and the Bloc and NDP are going to start scrambling to differentiate themselves from the liberals.
The slimy liberals have survived for years with a minority what makes you think this next 4 years will be any different, all they need is to keep their NDP bed buddies happy and bob's your uncle

We are not getting anything back, and in fact, 4 years from now we will all be wishing it was still 2025.
The current Liberal government will be here for a while, at least 4 years, I suspect far longer.
In the meantime, they will do everything in their power to set the groundwork for another victory. Buy votes, import voters, smear the CPC, make agreements with the BQ and NDP, etc.
Then by the time another election is called, the vote will be so diluted that the Liberals will win yet again. Canadians have spoken, we live in a left-leaning socialist oriented country run for clowns by clowns.

LOL We'll end up with a majority. That's exactly what they were working for. Give the minor illusion that people voted against the communists, then in six months, call another election, use all the vote ####ery that they can, and come out with a massive majority.

What makes anyone think Manitoba and west have any say in federal elections? Quebec and the Maritines rule Canada. Quebec has prevented all attempts of any piplines feeding Western Canada oil to the Eastern Canadian refineries. Liberals dominate eastern Canada which equals Canada. Sad to say but if you live in Western Canada your vote is meaningless... unless you are a liberal.

After the court decision of the CCFR vs Canada case, I fully expect full ban and confiscation of all firearms with the “public safety” justification.
According to judges, there’s no restriction when GIC (Government in Cabinet) makes decisions based on “public safety”.
