Nova Scotia HST Rate

Yeah, crazy- 14% is still a lot. And, in BC, you don't pay the PST when ordered from out of province. People in HST provinces still pay the whole shot.
Yeah it is 14% on everything, no matter where you buy from. Stuff we don't pay tax on, is most fresh food. But not including restaurants or prepared foods.

So 14$ on ever 100$, 140$ on ever 1000.

14% sucks but what is worse is the price increases I am seeing on PR’s new guns due to the tariffs. Can’t blame them for increasing prices. The guns I bought a year ago are $200 more. Debating on another revolving carbine.
Those haven't gone up due to tariffs. Only rifles we had come in post tariff are a few Ruger American Gen 2, Fierce and a few Henry(might have missed some). Having said that all Uberti firearms were up months ago but not due to tariffs at that time. Of course, no dealer will 'eat' the tariff prices as its more than the margin by a fair bit.
