Good day gentlemen.

I’ve been pondering over a very ‘bubba’ idea the last few days for a build I’m going to start on soon.

Has anyone ever seen a DBM conversion done on a Ross MkIII, and if so do you have any details on how it was done? I have an idea or two floating in my head…good bad or otherwise. Ha ha.

I have a chopped up sporter that deserves to be reincarnated into something beautiful, and I thought ‘Why not build what Sir Charles should have?’

I may also go to an internal 5rd fixed box mag, and I know how to make that one work already and have parts on hand. Just that the detachable mag would add another layer of cool and unique as well as ‘handy’ to the build.

Thoughts?

sounds interesting, any pictures ??

I still have a 1905 Ross that the original barrel is pooched, and the spare barrel I picked up is in worse shape, might make a good candidate for 22Hornet or 219Wasp.
Not yet, I have a video but can’t figure out how to post it. It was a lot of trial and error and butchery to get it there. Thankfully I had an action that was previously butchered. Everything needs welded up and finished off with the TIG, then I’ll post pics. Mag should be 5 rounds and mount flush with the floor plate.
