Pretty sure Walther blanks are world recognized. Im not sure Green mountains won any major shooting competition. I know Walther has and many many times. If your just shootin pop cans in a pit then the Green mountain cheap barrels will more than fill ur plate. If your trying for the best accuracy the green mountain wont hold a candle to the Kidd.Dlask uses green mountain blanks, Kidd and Volquartsen use walther blanks. Just buy a green mountain barrel.
Bits and pieces and other places sell em
Like pretty much any rifle the receiver don’t matter. Ruger doesn’t make stainless 10/22 actions vq does, amt and moa? did in the past. Both moa and amt have been defunct for a long time.Is it worth putting a Kidd/IBI/Volquartsen or on a ruger 10/22 stainless action or are you guys generally putting these on higher end clones?
Good point, the barrel is stainless but the receiver is alloy. Worth upgrading the barrel, or should one just go for a gucci receiver while going through the effort?Like pretty much any rifle the receiver don’t matter. Just get a tuff 22 and run those 15 round mags.Good point, the barrel is stainless but the receiver is alloy. Worth upgrading the barrel, or should one just go for a gucci receiver while going through the effort?
My rifle with a Kidd lightweight barrel shoots CCI standard velocity very well, 10 rounds within around 1 inch area at 50 yards, and using SK long range, it lands 20 rounds in a 1.5 x 2 cm area at 50 yards. A guy copied all my setup after seeing that.Hey gang, I'm looking to replace my stock barrel with a aftermarket one. I want a 16-18" bull barrel, any suggestions what kind and where to buy one?
