Any clubs throwing Chinese targets?

Price of White Flyer about a month ago, AA pitch, all orange, about $29 per case, no taxes. Canadian counter tariffs are now in effect, add 25%= $36.25. Add GST and PST and it now = $40.60. Long way from the $12 we were paying not that many year ago.

Canadian made, so no tariff. We order White Flyer ,because it's so much easier for us, the rep delivers to our range, and runs the pallets right into our target shed, vs us having to arrange shipping and delivery for Lawry, and then having to unload ourselves.
That pretty much sounds like a dream setup. Envious!

Tom shows up in his own truck, and uses an electric pallet jack to transfer pallets from his truck to our shed. Way easier than having to round up volunteers, to transfer targets by hand. We only require one person to open the shed, and hand him the payment.

Shipping rate from Van to China, truly bulk commodities in Panamax's, varies from $30 - $100 per tonne. Depending on demand, supply of ships, many other variables etc. The quote could have been $78 per tonne?

Hey Grain:
I wonder if a person could trade some Canola for some of those chinese targets?

They might go for that! Or they would accuse us of sending poisoned product again, lol.
I wonder why our poisoned product is consumed all around Canada and the world and nobody is dropping dead?

Excellent case for banning immigration from that part of the world.

And sending them back by the Public Safety Minister.

Old Yellow Flowers does not want to hurt anyone.

i tried a case of Italian targets, worked great.
I bought a pellet of white flyers a while back, got about 15 cases left, should be good for a least 5 years

Would the composition of the imported targets be environmentally appropriate?
That part of the world is not noted for their environment concern? Would the targets contain pollutants
Having dealt with Chinese product before, I would have great concern over “what was bought being what was got”

A Local retired farmer has a sporting clay course set up on his place and tells me he gets his clays from Italy because he claims they are less toxic on the land. Don’t know what brand name or if there is any truth to the environmental aspect, just sharing what he told me.

FYI, I ended up with a quote from Lawry's of 26.25 a case shipping included and a rough quote from Eurotarget in Italy of approx 26.00 a case but shipping from Vancouver would still have to be organized. That's roughly what we paid for White Flyers a couple of years ago. I think we will go with Lawry and buy Canadian.

That would be for a skid?… or for any amount?
