3K what 22lr rifle to buy!?

found a 1903R on a really good sale.
Might scoop that up tbh.

Has the two stage trigger, synthetic bench rest stock (I can drill a cheek piece into it) Should do just fine. Leaves me more to buy ammo with lol!

Nice Rig.. I like the colours. Tell me what does the green light do? level the scope?

One caution for the Vudoo at the moment is that the company is apparently they're under new ownership/ they are moving their operations. Other companies have gone downhill under similar scenarios, including customer care.

Ended up picking up a 1903R synthetic. Not as "cool" or "PRS" style, but I can make the trigger heavier (its 0.5 lbs from factory lol, adjustable) if I wana do that. I usually shoot from bench, tripod or bags. It will do everything I need it to and I should be satisfied with accuracy!

Couldnt turn down the good deal.

Rail ordered, should be in next week.
Rings purchased, sitting in wait.
Pick up the optic when I get a chance
PRS Sampler pack of ammo ordered.

Should be able to put this on the 1/2" at 50 this summer if im able to get out once or twice.

It's rare that an Anschutz doesn't perform to that standard. It can happen, but the odds are in your favour. Have fun, interested to know what the synthetic stock is like in terms of rigidity, how Anschutz handled that since other brands have been noted to be "flimsy like tupperware".

Awesome! Glad to see you enjoying your rifle! What is the distance?IMG_5999.jpeg
Been watching your thread for a while. Bought a 452 varmint with boyds tacticool adjustable stock and Hawk 24xa/o scope last summer. Finally getting into the groove now. Shot a couple five shot groups under .300 last weekend but cant seem to beat the .5 challenge on here. No real flyers in the groups they just open up. Might be the gun or me who knows?

Can’t wait to see your groups tighten up on your next outing. Although its amazing how hard it is to keep a rifle shooting straight on a couple of bags with a beating heart and huge optics! I always thought about an Anschutz or a Vudoo but figured I will just shoot blazers anyways! How is the double action trigger?

It really is hard!

I think im going to pick up a boyds Pro Varmint stock with an adjustable riser. I didnt love the grip angle of the benchrest in prone, it was ok seated. Plus that rubber they have on there is SUPER grippy... Sand and dust gets all over it. The rifle will be used for blasting prairie dogs so Id like to be able to put a bipod on it also.

I love the double action triggers. Always have. TBH the trigger is super light. I had a friend get behind the rifle and his first shot, he definitely did NOT mean to let sail lmao.

For a gun that I got for 1400 bucks. I feel that it keeps up with the 3k rifles pretty easily. Just had to find the ammo it liked.

The cabelas covenant brand scope is pretty nice. Packed with features. 5-35 is crazy. The 35x power is really nice for printing groups. It does get kinda dark after 25x though. ALSO MIRAGE IS KILLER

Wanna trade? Play with it for a while, dont do anything. Its all about you now. My trigger is pretty slick too I had to add a trigger shoe. Try corn starch, I always wondered about those stocks. Send me a pm.

I dont think the CZ and Annies have same inletting lol.

I do have a question though! How much rise does that boyds stock have in the cheek piece?
