Hi there!
hey how are you? im wondering if you can explain how to buy something from someone here. i cant comment on their posts and everything that's listed sold doesn't have any comments. im wondering if you have to message people another way?

What are your gun laws up there in the great white north? Is it federal or dependent on what area you live in? Down here in America it varies from state to state immensely. I moved from a state where only law abiding citizens were unarmed because of laws to a state where it's your right to carry a concealed weapon if you're an adult. You can just go buy a gun and carry it if you pass the background check.

my understanding is that its a "federal" level but the provinces have the right to put that into effect so to speak. like in the case of Alberta, that's my understanding however there's smarter people on this forum that can go into further detail

Awesome 👍🏼 what are you planning to shoot first? Trap, skeet, sporting clays, 5 stand?
There all good times.
honestly i would like to try sporting clays, I've never heard of 5 stand ill have to look into that. the range im going to i think offers skeet and trap to non members so ill probably start with skeet. what do you prefer? keep in mind i only have a Mossberg 500 but im proud of it my mother got me that gun.

From what everyone tells me sporting clays is a blast, haven't had the chance to try it myself but hope too soon.

There's nothing that Mossberg 500 can't do clay shooting wise. Your Mom as good taste 👌
Personally I'm a trap guy and have shot many many rounds with a 12 gauge 835 and 500 Mossberg before moving to an O/U.

Skeet is second and I have and do shoot that with a 500 in 20 gauge.

5 stand is like a smaller (area wise) version of skeet, trap and sporting clays mixed together , its fast and a lot of fun. Don't grab your gun by the barrel she'll be toasty warm.

Enjoy shooting clay and let us know how you do., nothing wrong with a little bragging LOL.

Louisiana and Mississippi are two cc states. cant remember any others why do you ask?
No particular reason just more out of curiosity. I was in pennsylvania years ago staying with a friend and a deer had been hit by a car near his home. We went to his house and he picked up a SS 44 mag with a 2-7 scope. Put it on the dash of his truck and we went back to dispatch the deer but another buddy of his had already shot it. I inquired about the gun and he said it could not be concealed but openly visible was ok!! Be awesome if we could carry!!
