It’s for any of the 3 models, but the $2050 price is for the FIRE 4000 ELITE.Elite units or?
Apologies - I was sitting at a soccer match at a school.1. FIRE4000 UltraLite — Ideal for hunting enthusiasts seeking reliable and lightweight solutions in the field.
2. FIRE4000 Sportsman — Perfect for weekend shooters and hobbyists looking for precision and ease of use.
3. FIRE4000 Elite — Built for serious shooters, law enforcement professionals, and competitive marksmen who demand top-tier performance and advanced features.
There’s 3
I’ve actually had several people send me pm’s so I’m going to get them - just waiting for them to get all the permits etc sorted.id be in for one but doesnt look like much interest
Can you tell us on the fence, how it is better? I'm seeing no internal weather measurements and no lifetime warrantyI like mine so much I am buying a second. Light years better than the Vortex unit. If you're on the fence go for it. Dominion Outdoors isn't going to be carrying them anymore so this is the place to order from and at the lowest price.
It uses the common Applied Ballistics as opposed to Geoballistics. Not a dealbreaker for me but I prefer AB.Can you tell us on the fence, how it is better? I'm seeing no internal weather measurements and no lifetime warranty
You could switch prices and the Fire4000 would still be the better deal to me.Thanks so much for providing this feedback Roddy.
And to Fedge2.0 - the Fire4000 is $1000+ cheaper too. Quite a saving on the Vortex.
Funny thing is, some of the best electronic products in the world have warranties of between 2 and 5 years only. There’s a reason Vortex products have become expensive for what they are - there are people that absolutely abuse their warranty - people want to sell them, then realize there’s some visual damage and they cannot get the price they want, so then literally drive over the product and get a new one - which they then sell for more money than what they would’ve otherwise gotten.I get it, and appreciate the feedback but I'd be more on board with a better warranty.
Sorry, not sure I completely understand what you’re referring to exactly.I've been a GSCI customer out of convenience. Have two of their QRF-1200s based on what my usual dealer TI stocks. Apparently that's not enough for GSCI to respond to me over why one of the general screen display is always reading 0.5 yards more than the more detailed ones with targeting GPS coordinate data. That's after fixing a bug with the visible-ranging-laser on button press didn't work properly.
I would put my money where my mouth is on this... if "Tango Innovations Inc." gave me reason to BELIEVE they don't tolerate obvious software bugs on their units going out to end-users. Period.
I get you but they are already cheaper than the other retailers that had them and sold out.I’d be in for a unit if we could have a pre-order introductory discount code
