Tactical Revolver .410

The TR-410 Compact Revolver Shotgun, was specifically designed for the Canadian market to feature a compact, modular and tactical design in a NON-RESTRICTED package.

The TR-410 features a modular design with a full flat-top picatinny rail, for complete customization of optics and sighting accessories. The bottom handguard also features a full picatinny rail for tailoring of grip accessories while the sides of the handguard feature M-LOK slots additional accessory mounting. The stock is telescoping and includes an adjustable cheek rest and textured pistol grip for optimal ergonomics.

Weighing just 5.6lbs and only 27” in overall length, this shotgun is small enough to be carried in a pack or small case. While .410 GA may seem a little demure to shooters used to 12GA, it is still potent cartridge, with .410 slugs often containing more muzzle energy then a standard .357 Magnum.

The barrel is rated for steel shot and is 9.4” in length, threaded for interchangeable chokes with a chamber sized for shells up to 3”. Like all firearms imported by TI, the TR-410 is backed with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Priced at just $799.

Im not all that interested in the typical 410 revolver shotguns, but something about this one I like.

Would be super extra cool if you could shoot 45colt!

The ballistics claims are pretty dubious though.
While .410 GA may seem a little demure to shooters used to 12GA, it is still potent cartridge, with .410 slugs containing nearly double the muzzle energy over a standard .357 Magnum.
Twice the energy of a 357mag? Let's look at some numbers...

Federal 140gr BarnesXpander from a 6" barrel@ muzzle, 50yds, 100yds:

609ft/lb, 491ft/lb, 406ft/lb

154gr HST, 4" barrel:

618, 480, 393

Now 3" 1/4oz slug from Winchester:

788, 403, 234.

And that doesn't even touch the most important part of this IMO - the sectional density and ballistic coefficient of a 410 slug. HALF of its muzzle energy is already gone by 50yds, and by 100yds it has less energy than a 9mm parabellum - and I don't mean 9mm at the muzzle, I mean 9mm at 100yds shot from a 4" barrel!

Very cool.
Personally I think if a company develops well designed revolver rifles with a type of detachable cylinders that can be handled and carried similar to stanag mags, it would be a slam dunk. I'm not an engineer but there must be a way!

Thank-you for pointing out!

Seems like a standard .357 is around 560 ftlbs, a standard .410 slug around 780 ft lbs. We've edited description accordingly :)

Back in 2012ish the rage was zombie guns, so awesome to see post apocalyptic borderlands stylized guns now, i dig it!

Would be great if they came out of a vending machine

Here are some pix of the day!

I’ve added a Vortex Spark II, a cheapo light/laser combo by Votatu, removed the iron sights, and brought back the angled foregrip.

Going to try looking for a ported choke to add to this puppy… photo shoot to be continued! 👀

PS: Would like to customize the stock, but I do not think it’s designed to be removed at all + the ‘locking holes’ and the bolt are square shaped, so I do not think a standard AR stock can fit on this blaster… not well, at least. But it works and doesn’t look too bad, so no real complaints here. 😍

I was thinking about my comment from earlier. But wouldn't the 357 model be banned considering they would be a centrefire semi auto? But good to know they're in development and thanks for the reply
410 is also centrefire...

They're not semi auto, because the gun doesn't do anything on its own to ready the next round. It's a manual action cycled with the trigger.
