CITADEL AD500 .308Win 20" Semi-Automatic Non-Restricted

Not a bad price honestly. I mean, I know it’s Turkish and made out of questionable pot metal and probably isn’t very reliable but this is about what a norinco m305 would be going for today with inflation if they hadn’t been banned. Instead of buying one of these I’d look for a used Remington 7400 or browning bar for a bit less

If you buy a gun, get a reference number, then cancel your order before it ships, the store doesn’t need to inform rcmp or cancel the reference number. You can also order 1000 guns from the same store on one single reference number if you want.

I sold a non restricted to a local recently. When you request a reference number with their pal number, you aren’t asked for make model, serial number or anything else about the actual gun
I understand this part, but I think most people are missing the fact that one of the parties needs to own a physical gun that was transferred or cancelled within that request. If both people shrug their shoulders then guess what, both people are going down. Someone has to be held accountable for it is what I'm saying. Both parties can't just say oh. I don't know where it is. That won't fly.

If you own restricteds they have the right to check up on your restricteds with notice. That doesn't require a warrant. So now they're in, with store records and your transfer number. They don't need warrants to get store sales and reference numbers.

You sold your gun recently without a transfer request? Congrats, now you're a criminal. All your guns will now be collected. I don't know who is feeding you your info but you sound very naive or confidently ignorant to how the system can #### you hard.

I would like for you to explain to me how if you sold your new purchase that you got from the store that there would be no record, like you have claimed. I'm genuinely curious.
And we have another Liberal lover spewing the narrative.
Get a life pal.
Make sure your Covid 19 Scam boosters are up to date.
Sell off your guns and continue to live in fear.
Please block me as I do not wish to have dialogue with a Carney/Trudeau supporter!
Have a nice life…..:)

Another idiot who can't converse about possible logistics. Colour me surprised.

You mean the logistics of the rcmp trying to track down guns via physical logs in a store, across the reference number system, that gets exponentially more improbable the more people you've bought/sold from? I have hundreds of reference numbers, each one allowed/allows multiple buying and selling over a long period of time. The number of man hours to successfully track down a single firearm from a stores logs, to the actual person who has it now using only reference numbers as clues, would be in the tens of thousands if it was the simplest scenario. Do you not understanding that if i have only 4 reference numbers open, and each of those people have 4, that is 16 people who will have to be searched? For one gun? Now imagine the second group of 4 also had 4 each, thats 64 people who may own the gun. Next 4, 256 people, then 1024...for one gun...get the picture? What are they going to do, round up multiple thousands of people from all across the country and say "ok, we know one of you has the hunting rifle, who is it! Dont make us charge all of you!" Yea i get liberals suck and hate guns, but they couldn't use the reference number system to reliably "track down" who owns what if they had a dedicated staff of 100 thousand people and a multi billion dollar budget.

not exactly correct..you can check as many licenses as you want, doesn't mean a sale was made, also doesn't mean a firearm was involved, could have been ammo, barrel,,mags,,that's why the reference number #### is worthless,

That's very incorrect. It applies a reference number between 2 parties for a firearm. So you'll need to come up with said firearm or face the consequences. Purchased between a store and yourself? Oh, let's check the stores sales records that they need to keep for 25 years. Thunderhog bought _________, knock knock.

It would be naive to think that this couldn't happen.

There’s a local store nearby that I ordered online from. When I went to pickup my new firearm they require a hand written signature in their ledger. Yeaaaaah right! Walked away from a good deal, but who cares. No one seems to value their autonomy and freedom as a man anymore.

YOU are also partially INCORRECT,,that reference number applies to a verification of the license, nothing more, and between individuals.it doesn't even mean a sale went ahead, also.could have been for a barrel or ammo,,and this crap about the stores keeping a record of the ORIGINAL purchaser is correct,BUT,,stores have been doing that for decades, way before any new supposedly backdoor registry came along, after that sale, that firearm could have changed hands a million times, unless a major crime has been commited with this firearm, they'll never waste time on it,and that trail could take years to follow up on,

It's ok that you can't comprehend law or possibilities or hypotheticals and be able to use your big boy brain. Keep on keeping on bud.
Man, your grasp of the firearms law in general but specifically the requirements surrounding store record warrants and checking on restricted firearms is juvenile at best but you are calling people on here idiots. People who have a significantly better grasp of the laws and requirements than you do, at least at surface level.

I rarely see the Dunning-Kruger effect in full force but here we are.

No warrant needed to check and collect store records and checking on restricted is absolutely allowed with notice.

I feel like you are just making stuff up or basing on stuff you hear from your “buddy”.
Read the section on store records and requirements very clearly and when they are required to turn over the records. You even made up 25 years when it’s clearly shown as 20.

For the restricted check, I’ll even point you to the section you need to read of the firearms act 104 (1). Good luck with your reading.

Now to further derail this thread… 😂

Police will require a warrant for store records.

Police, and anyone else checking on your firearms storage, can ask for entry. Entry can be denied, and then a warrant needs to be obtained.

Police can enter your home in exigent circumstance (fear for life), ‘hot pursuit’, and with a Feeney warrant.

I’ve done many warrants in my life. The threshold for an entry into a dwelling is very high. The expectation of privacy in your home is huge, as it should be.

Now about the rifle. I haven’t shot mine yet. Thirty acres, five kids, and all that comes with it makes me a busy guy. Also, too many other guns to shoot still.

It does feel really solid and for under 1K it seems a great bargan. I wish additional mags would become available.
