Those are just the favouritesDamn! Nice collection. Never knew wood furniture was a thing for that model. Where did you get it?
Great to hear! Really appreciate the feedback.Iāve been shooting a VR-66 for a while now in 2Gun/3Gun events and it has been a very enjoyable shotgun to run. It has no problems with light target loads, cycles it well. Very accurate with buckshot and slugs, although itās light and does kick a bit. I run a cheap Amazon slip on recoil pad on it and it works well. It is light, fast and accurate, super happy with it for the money. I also run a magazine extension, and it will ghost load.
I run a red dot on it simply because Iām not a fan of ghost ring sights personally, way too used to a bead sight on a shotgun lol. Itās been a good shotgun for me, I have no problem recommending them![]()
Details? I've been thinking of looking for a red dot for mine as well and might as well start looking now.I run a red dot on it
There is a thread in the TNA subforum if you want more reading.Great to hear! Really appreciate the feedback.

I have several tactical semi's including the 1301, 930 SPX, Rev R4 and the VR66. The 930 being the heaviest with the lowest recoil and the 66 being the opposite. The 66 is a solid option for the price and is compatible with most Benelli M2 aftermarket parts, TNA also has a good selection of parts for the 66. Mine has been very reliable but I do perfer a gun that is a little heavier. Get the "enhanced version" with the loading port cut and the go fast parts if you choos to get one. Between that an the various M4geries out there, I think the VR66 has better build quality, fit and finish. I am not a fan of pistol grip stocks on shot guns so I swapped my R4s telescoping stock for one of the wood setups and it is quite nice and fun to shoot.
Here's a pic of a few of them having a smoke in the locker room.

Looks like the one they have on the website is the "enhanced" version. It features the Loading port cut out, the enlagred bolt release, charging handel and the nickle plated bolt. The original one did not include those features. You guys are killing me with these semi's lol Great collection here too.My Stoeger coach and Remington 870 Tac are not cutting it. Thanks for the info on the VR-66. I am not seeing an "enhanced" version on the website so probably sold out?

I never thought of this before, but mine is the full zoot taccy version with the ghost ring sights, 18.6" barrel, +2 mag extension and all the upgrades/improvements mentioned by pirate604. I am also not a fan of pistol grips on shotguns, so I agree with pirate604 on that as well.I am not seeing an "enhanced" version on the website so probably sold out?
Thoughts on the recoil of the 1301 vs the VR66?I have several tactical semi's including the 1301, 930 SPX, Rev R4 and the VR66.
I donāt know about pirate604, but personally I find my buddyās 1301 WAY softer shooting than the VR-66. I find the VR to be really light, which translates to way more felt recoil to me. I run a slip on recoil pad on mine and it helps a lot imhoThoughts on the recoil of the 1301 vs the VR66?
I tried a VR66 and found the recoil to be pretty stout. It wasn't much different than my 870.
The 1301 has noticeably less recoil than the VR66. If I was going out to shoot a flat of ammo, would be the 1301. If carrying around the farm or banging around in a truck, VR66. If bought on a sale, the VR66 is a great deal, either the tricked out model or the standard. Can also get a sweet 18.5" vent rib barrel for it, almost perfect length IMO.Thoughts on the recoil of the 1301 vs the VR66?

Yes, as other have said, 1301 is significantly less than the VR66. The VR66 is VERY light. Still a great gun.Thoughts on the recoil of the 1301 vs the VR66?
