I would imagine that it works for as long as Tactical Arms is in business with it's current owners.... if the company is gone at some point, the warranty will go with them, till then, buy with confidence.

Any one know what the heat shield is made out of?

The only thing missing to my eye is a railed clamp supporing the mag tube extension.

I can tell you it’s fairly light for what it is and the folding open is snug, no wiggle here. Just have to take care when folding it open so the fingers don’t get mashed in the process, but really love how much easier it is to load when it’s cracked open.
