Pickup a bunch of bulk PMC ammo both .223 Bronze and PMC XTact 5.56 62g green tip, and can not say I’m impressed. At least two rounds per box so far have had failure to fires. Primers have good hits and even after three or four strikes the ammo fails to fire. Very annoying and a waste of money if only 80% of the ammo fires the lower cost don’t actually account to a lower cost.

So far only 160 rounds or so of it though my BLC Bison. Going to try some of the .223 bronze outa my Savage axis and see if issue follows to the other rifle (confirming ammo as issue)

For what it’s worth, The BCL has run 40 rounds of PPU 69G match that I have flawlessly.

I'd be willing to bet the issue is the BCL product. I've had great reliability and accuracy out of PMC ammo (Bronze, XTAC, 55gr, 62gr, 77gr) for service rifle out of a number of different guns.

On the other hand, my CZ527 doesn't like it. I suspect the striker spring isn't strong enough to handle the harder/thicker primers. Definitely not the fault of the ammo.

I've fired those thru a Ruger American Standard, and an MRA Renegade with NO probs - literally Hundreds of PMCs. Also in my Ruger Ranch in x39.

my Cz527 will do the same with "military" primers it will sometime leave a dent but not fire the round

To be fair to the BCL. My Savage Axis had a 5% fail to fire with the PMC .223 ammo as well. Still better than the BCL originally but the BCL fires it flawlessly now. 100% so far.

RE my Post-#3, my Ruger Standard (rotary-mag non-AR-mag) has No FTF/E with 'any' ammo I've tried, incl Euro & Mil-spec brands and mil-surp. I haven't found a 'too-hard' primer in Factory brands either.
