Anyone here have first hand experience with the Vortex Viper HD 3-15x44?

I have a Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 and I was extremely disappointed when I compared it to my VX5 HD. the VX5 HD is better in every way.

Even the finish is a joke on that vortex.

I have one, i like the the center dot illumination and the parallax adjustment / focus adjusts down to 25 yards.
The image quality is pretty decent, and the size allows me to use low rings. I haven't experienced any issues with it so far...
