Recoil pad for Sako 85..

I have a Sako 85 in 338 win mag... factory recoil pad is a hockey puck..

Any recoil pads that fit right on with no grinding or mods?

I had a limbsaver on my 85 stainless synthetic in 338WM. It was the older version, part #10011. It wasn't a perfect fit but very very close. I would go with the newer airtech one - part #10803. It says it fits the Sako 75, but it should fit the 85. There are templates on the limbsaver website that you can print off to help with fit.

Limbsaver Grind-to-Fit.

Limbsaver grind to fit is too soft. Gun standing but down in the corner over night has carpet imprint. Was hard to grind smooth even after freezing.
